Goji Green Loose Leaf Tea from japan has blue cornflower blossom and ‘superfruit’ goji berries for a subtle, tart sweetness.

Take a Japanese Sencha green tea; add “superfruit” Goji berries, a splash of blue cornflower blossom and not only do you get a fabulous looking tea but a powerhouse of nutrients as well.

This is truly a red diamond in the crown, the name used by the Chinese for the goji berry. Grown on plantations along the floodplains of the Yellow River for more than 600 years, the goji berry has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for nearly 2,000 years. One of the more interesting myths surrounding the berry is of Li Qing Yuen who was said to have consumed red diamonds daily and lived to the age of 252. (1678-1930)

Carefully picked or shaken from the trees, goji berries are dried in full sun, dehydrating over a period of 48 hours. Rich in nutrients, minerals, and amino acids, goji berries have very high levels of Vitamin C, Vitamin E and beta carotene. Goji is said to boost your immune system, help fight infection, relieve insomnia and, oh yeah, forgetfulness. Best of all, it tastes really good.

Drink lots of this tea and expect to live a long and happy life.

20 to 25 cups of tea can be made from 2 oz of loose leaf tea.
